No recuerdo con exactitud cuándo conocí este negocio, pero puedo asegurarte que no pierdo oportunidad de ir cada vez que estoy en Buenos Aires y quiero regalar o regalarme algo 😉

Did you have the opportunity to visit and experience the charm that Tintha https://www.instagram.com/tintha_store/ stores offer? I did, and not once, but several times! I don’t remember exactly when I knew about this store, but I can assure you that I never miss a chance to go every time I’m in Buenos Aires and want to give something as a gift or treat myself 😉

Su encanto comienza desde antes de cruzar sus puertas. Las vidrieras, decoradas con amor y cuidando cada detalle, nunca pasan inadvertidas y cuando entrás te envuelve un mundo donde todo está pensado: productos cuidadosamente dispuestos en sus diferentes colecciones, música agradable, fragancias suaves y una atención personalizada que transforma tu visita en algo mágico, sobre todo si sos, como en mi caso, amante del papel y la papelería 😍

Its enchantment begins even before you walk through its doors. The windows, decorated with love and taking care of every detail, never go unnoticed and when you enter you are surrounded by a world where everything is thought out: products carefully arranged in their different collections, pleasant music, soft fragrances and a personalized attention that transforms your visit into something magical, especially if you are, as in my case, a lover of paper and stationery 😍

Cuando comencé a escribir las Crónicas Porteñas, quise que Tintha fuera parte de este proyecto y mi sueño se hizo realidad 💕: a fines de noviembre Ani Kerman, su carismática dueña, me recibió en el local de Palermo, ubicado en la esquina de Thames y Costa Rica, donde todo comenzó allá por el año 2006.

When I started writing Crónicas Porteñas, I wanted Tintha to be part of this project and my dream came true 💕: at the end of November Ani Kerman, its charismatic owner, welcomed me at the Palermo store, located on the corner of Thames and Costa Rica, where it all started back in 2006.

Ani, con su energía contagiosa y buen humor, me cuenta que Tintha nació de su pasión por la papelería, un sueño que se materializó gracias al apoyo incondicional de Lory, su mamá, quien desde el inicio se convirtió en su socia y aliada.

Juntas formaron un equipo sólido donde la creatividad y el buen gusto se reflejan en cada detalle del diseño de sus colecciones de papelería y fragancias que es el sello de Tintha.

También me comentó que los primeros productos fueron tarjetas de felicitación para distintos eventos y algunos cuadernos donde comenzaron a verse los primeros diseños de sus tapas. Ani entre risas dice que esos productos estaban muy lejos de ser perfectos 😀

Ani, with her contagious energy and good mood, told me that Tintha was born from her passion for stationery, a dream that materialized thanks to the unconditional support of Lory, her mom, who from the beginning became her partner and ally.

Together they built a solid team where creativity and good taste are reflected in every detail of the design of their stationery and fragrance collections, which is Tintha‘s hallmark.

She also told me that the first products were greeting cards for different events and some notebooks where the first designs of their covers began to be seen. Ani laughingly says that those products were far from being perfect 😀.

Sin embargo, el aprendizaje, la pasión y la perseverancia de Ani y Lory las llevaron a ocupar un nicho poco explorado en Argentina: la creación de libretas y papeles de alta calidad, producidos en su propio taller.

Además, desarrollaron una línea de spa única, con fragancias exclusivas y un packaging cuidadosamente diseñado, elaborado con esos mismos papeles, lo que refleja su compromiso con el detalle y la innovación.

However, Ani and Lory’s learning, passion and perseverance led them to occupy a little explored niche in Argentina: the creation of high quality notebooks and papers, produced in their own factory.

In addition, they developed a unique spa line, with exclusive fragrances and carefully designed packaging made from the same papers, reflecting their commitment to detail and innovation.

Tintha cuenta además con una colección de productos importados como jarrones, textiles y sets de jardinería que combinan funcionalidad y diseño: topísimo es poco 😉

En Tintha es posible encontrar, entre otras cosas, anteojos, paraguas, una gran variedad de adornos navideños y unas regaderas de metal muy decorativas.

Ani enfatiza que no podría fabricar o vender nada que no amara y  es por ello que podés encontrar productos que reflejan dos de sus pasiones: la cocina y la jardinería. 

Tintha also has a collection of imported products such as vases, textiles and gardening sets that combine functionality and design: top of the line is not enough 😉

Tintha offers, among other things, glasses, umbrellas, a wide variety of Christmas decorations and ornamental metal watering cans.

Ani emphasizes that she couldn’t make or sell anything she didn’t love and that’s why you can find products that reflect two of her passions: cooking and gardening.

En el transcurso de estos dieciocho años Thinta fue expandiéndose y así llegó el segundo local en Cabello 3697 en Palermo Chico. Más tarde se sumó el de Belgrano en Cuba 1929 , otro en Alparamis Avenida del Libertador 2229 en Olivos y un espacio en el Landmark en el shopping Unicenter.

In the last eighteen years, Thinta has been expanding and so the second store was opened at Cabello 3697 in Palermo Chico. Later on, the Belgrano store in Cuba 1929, another one in Alparamis Avenida del Libertador 2229 in Olivos and a space in the Landmark in the Unicenter shopping mall were added.
