Soy plástica y socióloga  o socióloga y plástica. Tal como soy mamá y abuela y abuela y mamá; marcas indelebles que me constituyen e identifican.Pero hay un punto de partida, siempre hay un punto de partida y el mío fue haber nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en un hogar donde la plástica era importante. Mi padre era pintor. En mi infancia vi mucha pintura. Visité muchos talleres de sus amigos y colegas -Gambartes, Píccoli, Berni, Castagnino- . Mi programa dominguero era muy a menudo, visitar con él, el Museo de Bellas Artes. Seguramente aprendía, casi por ósmosis el lenguaje de la plástica que luego volvería a mi de adulta.

I am an Artist and a Sociologist or a Sociologist and an Artist. Just as I am mother and grandmother and grandmother and mother; indelible marks that constitute and identify me.
But there is a starting point, there is always a starting point and mine was being born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a home where art was important. My father was a painter. In my childhood I saw a lot of painting. I visited many workshops of his friends and colleagues -Gambartes, Píccoli, Berni, Castagnino-. My Sunday program was very often, to visit the Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes) with him. Surely I was learning, almost by osmosis. the language of art that would later return to me as an adult.

Durante muchos años tuve que dedicarme a la plástica paralelamente a un trabajo formal para sostener a mi familia. La jubilación me ha permitido tener una dedicación absoluta a mi mayor pasión que es dibujar y pintar. Además de recibir la influencia paterna, tuve la suerte de tener dos grandes maestros: Anselmo Piccoli y Gabriela Aberastury. Con él me inicié en la técnica de pintura al óleo y con ella en dibujo y grabado. Fueron maestros muy generosos que además de transmitirme los secretos técnicos de dichas disciplinas, me ayudaron a transitar la búsqueda de una mirada propia y a encararla con mucha pasión.Con el tiempo, fui armando una excelente biblioteca de libros de arte que me sirvieron para conocer la vida, la obra y la técnica de muchos artistas.

For many years I had to dedicate myself to art alongside a formal job to support my family. Retirement has allowed me to have absolute dedication to my greatest passion, which is drawing and painting. In addition to receiving parental influence, I was fortunate to have two great teachers: Anselmo Piccoli and Gabriela Aberastury. With him I started in the technique of oil painting and with her in drawing and engraving. They were very generous teachers who, in addition to transmitting the technical secrets of these disciplines, helped me to explore the search for my own gaze and face it with great passion. Over time, I was putting together an excellent library of art books that helped me to know life, work and technique of many artists.

Creo que me identifico plenamente como dibujante, siento que es mi mundo más genuino.
En estos días estoy experimentando diversas técnicas. Pintando con acrílicos, dibujo en lápiz y tinta, y también diseño collages con técnicas mixtas.Es importante lograr una rutina diaria de trabajo, tal como decía Picasso, «lo mejor es que la inspiración te encuentre trabajando». Actualmente vivo y tengo el taller en Almagro (CABA) donde doy clases y trabajo en mi obra.  

I think that I fully identify myself as a cartoonist, I feel that it is my most genuine world. These days I am experimenting with various techniques. Painting with acrylics, drawing in pencil and ink, and also designing collages with mixed techniques.
It is important to achieve a daily work routine, as Picasso said, «it is best that inspiration finds you working».
Currently I live and have a workshop in Almagro (CABA) where I teach and work on my art.
