Hola a todos, soy Cecilia y ya me conocieron en la primera entrega de Amigas y Amigos Artistas.

Hello everyone, I am Cecilia and you already met me in the first season of Artistic Friends.

Esta vez les quiero contar un poco más de mi familia. Generalmente me levanto pensando en qué momento del día podré pintar, aunque eso no termine sucediendo 🙂 . Tengo la maravillosa suerte de coincidir en la vida con un compañero llamado Julián quien descubrió una actividad muy interesante en la cuarentena, que es hacer vasos de madera, del estilo vikingo. Investigó todo desde cero porque es un autodidacta con insistencia y convicción…

`¿Qué les parece que pudo haber salir de dos personas como nosotras? 

This time I want to tell you a little more about my family. Generally I wake up thinking about what time of day I will be able to paint, even if that does not end up happening 🙂 . I am very lucky of coinciding in life with a partner named Julian who discovered an activity very interesting in the quarantine that is to make wooden glasses, Vikings type. He investigated everything from scratch, he is a self-taught with insistence and conviction …

What do you think could have come out of two people like us?

Lisandro o Lichu, como lo llamamos todos, un pequeño con muchas inquietudes artísticas. Creo que a su corta edad tiene la suerte de poder expresar y quizás hasta tener su vocación definida. Tiene juguetes pero él prefiere hacer sus propias figuras en cartón. Le gustan los broches porque los puede pintar y convertir en  sus personajes favoritos. Llegó al punto de querer hacer su propia ropa pero, sin intención de desanimarlo, le expliqué que aún tiene que aprender un poco más. Aunque muchos no lo crean, no intervengo en sus momentos de creatividad a menos que me lo pida, todo es 100% él mismo. Va por la calle viendo si encuentra cartón 🙂 y a sus propios juguetes suele pintarlos o modificarlos.

Lisandro or Lichu, as we all call him, a little boy with many artistic concerns. I think that at his young age he is lucky to be able to express and perhaps even have his defined vocation. He has toys but he prefers to make his own cardboard figures. He likes the clothespins because he can paint them and turn them into his favorite characters. He got to the point of wanting to make his own clothes but, without the intention of discouraging him, I explained that he still has to learn a little more. Although many may not believe it, I do not interfire in his moments of creativity unless he asks me, everything is 100% himself . He goes down the street seeing if he finds cardboard 🙂 , and his own toys are usually painted or modified.

No es un niño normal pero sus padres tampoco lo son. No mira programas de televisión, mira algunos tutoriales en YouTube, donde busca manualidades y  se volvió fan de los juguetes random… juguetes de los 90, a veces hasta opina sobre mis dibujos y casi siempre tiene razón… «acá le falta luz»… «yo le pondría un corazón»… en fin… es el Niño más creativo que conozco, sueña con ser un inventor entre otras cosas… y también con ser el Hombre araña 😉

He is not a normal child but neither are his parents. He does not watch television programs, he watches some tutorials on YouTube, where he looks for crafts and became a fan of random toys … toys from the 90s, sometimes he even thinks about my drawings and he is right most of the times … «here it lacks light» … » I’d put a heart on it «… well … he’s the most creative boy I know, he dreams of being an inventor among other things … and also of being Spider-man 😉

Lo positivo es que aún no se volvió un adicto de los dispositivos móviles, en algún momento quizás suceda pero aún no mostró interés más que para algunas curiosidades como buscar un dibujo en internet para copiarlo. El es mi mayor orgullo. Si el día de mañana decide hacer otra cosa que no esté relacionada con el arte, ahí estaremos para motivarlo y acompañarlo siempre 🙂

The positive is that he has not yet become addicted to mobile devices, at some point it may happen but he still did not show interest except for some curiosities such as looking for a drawing on the internet to copy it. He is my greatest pride. If tomorrow he decides to do something else, not related with art, we will be there to motivate and accompany him 🙂
