El año pasado tuve la suerte de contar con Verónica Martínez Castro https://www.instagram.com/veromartinezcastro/ en el proyecto de Amigas Artistas.

Sus collages realizados con papeles, tijeras y pegamentos en los cuales retrata a mujeres en diversas situaciones de vida me resultaron muy impactantes.

A partir de ese momento nuestros caminos continúan cruzándose por compartir intereses comunes como la escritura y el arte.

Last year I was very lucky to have Verónica Martínez Castro https://www.instagram.com/veromartinezcastro/ in the Artistic Friends project.

Her collages made with paper, scissors and glue in which she portrays women in different life situations were very impressive to me.

From that moment on, our paths continued to cross because we shared common interests such as writing and art.

Cuando supe de la segunda edición de FABULOSAS y leí su MANIFIESTO: EL ARTE DE VIVIR LA NUEVA LONGEVIDAD sentí una especie de shock energético al sentirme identificada con la temática 🙂 Inmediatamente contacté a Verónica Martínez Castro para que me contara sobre esta movida.

When I heard about the second edition of FABULOSAS and read its MANIFESTO: THE ART OF LIVING THE NEW LONGEVITY, I felt a kind of energetic shock as I identified with the theme 🙂 I immediately contacted Veronica Martinez Castro to tell me about this initiative.

FABULOSAS es una invitación a celebrar la vida y a disfrutar de la madurez con plenitud y audacia. Este será un espacio para compartir experiencias, aprender cosas nuevas y conectarse con otras personas que comparten la misma visión

FABULOSAS is an invitation to celebrate life and to enjoy maturity with fullness and audacity. This will be a space to share experiences, learn new things and connect with others who share the same vision.

¿Cómo no sentirme identificada con lo que estas mujeres proponen?Tengo 58 años y a los 50 tomé la decisión de cambiar de país y dejar mi vida pasada y conocida atrás.

Fue una movida excitante y difícil a la vez. Estos ocho años han sido de muchísimo aprendizaje y especialmente de reinvención. En una época de la vida donde por momentos perdemos visibilidad porque pareciera que sólo si somos jóvenes somos interesantes, muchas de nosotras estamos en plena expansión y en el encuentro de pasiones olvidadas, dormidas o dejadas atrás por las obligaciones de lo cotidiano. Y desde mi experiencia y la de otras mujeres y también que fui encontrando a lo largo de estos años, es que NUNCA es tarde para lo que quieras o te guste hacer. Que te animes a explorar y que te sientas FABULOSA 🤗

How can I not identify with what these women are proposing? I am 58 years old and at the age of 50 I made the decision to move to another country and leave my past and known life behind me.

It was an exciting and difficult move at the same time. These eight years have been a lot of learning and especially of reinvention. In a time of life where at times we lose visibility because it seems that only if we are young we are interesting, many of us are in full expansion and in the encounter of forgotten passions, asleep or left behind by the obligations of everyday life. And from my experience and that of other women and also men I have met over the years, is that it is NEVER too late for whatever you want or like to do. May you be encouraged to explore and feel FABULOUS 🤗
